Home repair for low-income families in the Appalachian Mountains. The love of Christ, flexibility, and the willingness to serve are all that's required. Any skill level welcome. More information will be available in the spring.
Least of These
Least of These is the main food pantry for Christian County. They also provide clothing, personal care products, and household items as they are available. Volunteers are needed for sorting donations, stocking shelves, office work, and more. Click here for more information on their services and how you can help.
Festival of Sharing
This annual interfaith celebration and ingathering of mission resources helps to actively feed the hungry and end the root causes of hunger. This year we are making and collecting Personal Hygiene Packs and Readin' & Writin' Packs. Click here for more information and a detailed list of items in each pack.
Holiday Baskets and Angel Tree
Each year, we adopt local families in need of extra help through Least of These and provide their holiday meal. At Christmas, we adopt local children through Least of These and provide Christmas presents for them. Lots of helpers are needed to sort and organize donations and distribute them on pick up day.
Congregational Care Ministry
Our Congregational Care ministry encompasses many facets of caring for each other as a family of God, like meals for new moms and the sick, rides to medical appointments, hospitality at Sunday services, cards and letters of support and encouragement for our college students and military personnel, prayer shawls, basic health screenings and information, and our newly formed respite care ministry just to name a few. Stephen Ministry
Sometimes it's hard to ask for help. However, that's not God's plan. God wants us to care for others and allow others to care for us in our time of need. We have a team of trained laypeople called Stephen Ministers who are ready to listen and care! Click here for more information.

Moms in Action
Focused on the needs and interests of mothers with school-aged children, Moms in Action is a service-oriented Christian group to enrich the lives of women through social, spiritual, educational and service opportunities. Meets one Thursday night per month from 6:00-8:30 PM through the school year.
Moms in Touch
Moms gather at 8:45 AM each Wednesday to pray for our children, our schools, our community, and our world.

United Methodist Women (UMW)
UMW meets the second Thursday of every month at 1 PM in Aldersgate House. Each meeting includes a devotion, snacks, program, and collection of personal care items for Least of These. All ladies are invited!
Annual Women's Conference
All ladies are invited for a day of refreshing including dynamic speakers, door prizes, delicious food and fellowship. Next conference is scheduled for September 22, 2012.
Men's Bible Study
Associate Pastor Phil Brucks leads this study Monday nights at 7 PM in the Youth Building. All guys are welcome! You can join anytime.
Men's Breakfast
The first Saturday of each month at 7:00 AM. Bring your sons, grandsons, neighbors and friends for a hot breakfast, devotion and fellowship!
Annual Steak Dinner
Freshly grilled stead with all the fixings, a lively guest speaker and a night with the guys. What more could you want? Next date will be summer of 2012.
